Her eyes,Β 
once so filled with love for him it breached their brims and washed away what trenching walls of preconcept that broken trust had dug as cuts upon his cheeks and left what flesh was rest as white as would it be by bloodlet loss,Β 
now held not a drop...
They were as pinpricked nothings peeping from behind a windswept fluttered shutter.
The disconnect was real...
