remember me with skies of grey and even those of blue
see me soaring with the birds or climb a tree or two
see me in the face of willow watch us as we sleep
remember i was once like her to sleep without a peep
hear me say "i love you" as the autumn leaves blow
my sweet baby boy i wish that everyone could know
watch me as i blink my eyes with the twinkle of the stars
and if your heart is hurting mom please know im never far
open up your heart to things but sadness let it go
remember in the winter im the diamond glints on snow
free yourself from nightmares fear and mommy all the guilt
you love me so my heart is full my rose will never wilt 
move forward mom be happy id love to see you smile
the one you showed me everyday when i was just a child
