Resurrected

What did the Romans say, when Christ’s body was gone on the third day? What of the sacrifice a son gave, as he arose from a slumbering grave. 

Washed away was any and all sin, that whosoever believeth in.  For the son of man, erased by the blood of his dying hand. 

To be lifted above death itself this day,
man was shown the eternal way. For if you to only believe, your soul, Emanuel will retrieve.  

This great sacrifice is felt even today, in the hearts of sinners who stray. Jesus, reaching into your very soul, So that the teachings to all the children will allow them to grow. 

For on this day was resurrection, our soul’s an eternal connection. To an everlasting light, amidst the darkest night. 

Guide us thus over, within these Easter fields of clover. As my soul shall now always know, the warmth, love and sacrifice of his enteral glow...
