Return To Colour

Through the board game of black and white the players make their move,
to release the frozen atmosphere, that feeling of moody blues.
The shadow of dark leaves daylight as the dawn takes back its role,
and stepping stones that left the path will move towards that goal.

The sun will smile in Paris once the romance starts to bloom,
as lovers whisper promised vows, the streets will sway till noon.
Bring back the smell of coffee, let the memory fill the air,
the time of not so long ago, when we lived without a care.

Release the New York scene, set city lights aglow,
return to the concrete jungle, and the stage where movie stars go. 
We'll close this restless chapter, a time we got knocked of our feet,
and step into an era, where back to colour we shall meet.
