REVELATIONS OF LOVE

A surprising and previously unknown fact, one made in a dramatic way or otherwise, the making known, the fact or truth of a secret or the unknown.

Since God is our Creator and because, creation reflects and reveals the Creator, and as we say, God is love, all creation somehow reflects and reveals love. This is a reasonable argument, but the point here in these poems is not to presume the conclusion but to see it, to understand it, to stand under it. If God is love, all creation must reflect love. Yet we do not habitually look for these reflections.

When some languages call the Sun as "he" and the moon as "she," they are not simply projecting the human reality out onto nature, but seeing something that is really there. One version of this is the famous Chinese yin and yang. Another is the Indian marriage ceremony in which the groom says to his bride, "I am the heaven, you are earth." She responds, "I am the earth, you are heaven."

The Earth will go bare!

When your dark dreams,
Reflect an unknown;
Unclothed woman,
Then, the revelation is that:
The Earth will go bare;
A yield will be shattered;
Plants will lose its trunks;
And their leaves will
fade away and drops down;
A death will occur;
There will not be any single
drop of water in your tank,
to wash away your own
dead body!
