Revenge

Revenge

Rising from destiny
We learn how to fall
We push ourselves away
From the inevitable wall
The colorful journey
Ends in gray-scale
Only to be remembered
By our depression filled tale
We fight for love
Counteracted with pain
The sorcerer’s discretion
Fills the empty sky with rain
Recently atop
A pedestal of grace
You razor blade romance
Crumbles without trace
The greed of the assassin
Encompasses your final breath
Buries your casket
In the playground of death
The passionate demise
That once brought such hope
Allocates grief in the innocent
Teaching lovers to cope
The single dying thought
That one final wish
To bring misery to them
Revenge on a frozen dish
