Riding The Struggle Bus

Riding The Struggle Bus

I've started to wonder
Do I enjoy the abuse
Every time I smile
They knock out a tooth
I look up to enjoy the sky
I'm told to move over
And I'm not surprised
I find a bird pooped on my shoulder
I wake up feeling fine
Then step on toy on the floor
While I'm hopping in pain
I hit my head on the top of the door
I leave for work
My car breaks down in the parking lot
Thought my shirt was clean
But it's got a grease spot
Can I get a break
I stub my toe and cuss
Somehow I got trapped
Up on the struggle bus
I light a smoke
And try to be numb
But I somehow managed
To burn my thumb
I forgot to text my girl
And tell her good day
And now she thinks
I didn't care enough to say
I know these are first world problems
But they are always coming
I can't help but think
I am cursed or something
I forgot my bills due
So my phone shuts down
I am ok
Just tired of this frown
