Right Way To Go

Right Way To Go

What's that you say? You say we are not the same

I guess it's those stereotypes that are to blame

People walk around talking about others

You can't know yourself without knowing about others

I've got a hunch that God never wanted this

Let's move away from hate and prejudice

You know the racist man is full of shit

Come on brothers let's learn about the culture opposite

Don't judge a book by it's cover

Travel the world and discover

That beauty is what I think of when I see different colors of the skin

Let's rejoice and pray for them

Too many times I have seen the wrong side

The hatred keeps building up

Bring me only good vibes

I seek answers from the man above

The tension keeps building up, where is the love?

Love your brother no matter the language he speaks, and I know

That's the right way to go

Look into the eyes of a abominate child

And tell me you didn't melt as he smiled

The intolerance keeps building up, and I know

That ain't the right way to go

Reach to the sky and make yourself a promise

To love your brother opposite

Hold my hand and discover

We can live in peace with one another

Spread the word of love, so everyone can know

By God it's the right way to go

Great write Amber, it was Lennon who said give peace a chance. I cannot understand how people can hate oyher people just because they look different and come from different places, but we all are doing the same thing living.  Peace.

Yes, Lennon was a tremendous loss to us. AS well as Bob Marley. Men who preached about peace and love. They have inspired me to be kind, for once I wasn't so easy going. Thanks devon for taking the time to read my poetry

Hey amber Mr George Harrison preached about peace and love too. God would not want us to judge us by the color of our skin but the media sure does not help race relations at all . We as nation need to stop and help each other instead of blaming one another . A very thought provoking write. Cheers rock

Amber, It's the right way to go -- no doubt about it!

although, a predominant portion of the western civilization is powered from properly enslaving the lesser nations.

Big ouch!
