R.I.P.

R.I.P.

I am tired of preforming
Trying to impress you
Doing all the things
You want me to do

I finally realize
My value and worth
And I will no longer be trampled
Under your feet as though I am dirt

For you I have done the best I can
But there is no thankfulness
For your deceiving lips
Only cruel words
And that which offends

You say I love you
When I satisfy your needs
But as soon as my back is turned
You cheat and scheme

Today I've decided
To walk it alone
And you will no longer
Call this house your home

So get to stepping
This is the end of the line
No longer will you break my heart
And confuse my mind.
