River Love

When love has run its coarse it ends up being worse
than gushing waters into big sea raging violently
when words are cursed the listing boat rocks helplessly
as waves wash up loosing bearings floating aimlessly
being tossed spunked and splashed
even Jonah had more opportunity
This once fresh stream so clean with vision of dream
wetted appetite to do right by you and me
has become an ocean of diversity
lost in murky waters where have we gone wrong
in our navigation
We who rode white rapids teaming waters
pulling together surfing for life going down
but never going under rising up head above waters
we anchored in the sea of tranquility giving up praises
having survived another crisis
Now crystal clear blue waters eaten up rough chopped
frothing at the mouth with saliva foaming
angry waters falling once again on our heads
disturbing peace this must be a bad omen
Forgetting unity one of us must be thrown over board
the ship is sinking its that same old feeling
submerging with no faith who can walk on water
who will be the first to turn to drink no time to think
these are not still waters going in we must swimÂ
Everyone for self our vessel of security is cracked
leaking viscously hurling accusationsÂ
this relation ship is drowning we have failed miserably
all has come to naught
we have been caught in a tide of recriminations
Our sos is late and won't stop the stress
our flare is quenched and has outed disastrously
we must take the plunge
perhaps a passing ship will take the cue
and rescue saving us from each other
So as we drift further apart our rift finally rented
it's time to sail on bye its time to say goodbye
goodbye river love goodbye
