This road wasn't easy
They said this road wasn't easy
sometimes we find out the hard way...believe me
this path chosen
sometimes with life...i feel Iām imposing
they said I wouldn't make it
life was too much for me...that I couldn't take it
Struggles seem to come daily
I'm wondering why God failed me
nobody's is telling me nothing now
Dead end road....lost somehow
I close my eyes...I see fake dreams
hear that passion in my voice, the frustration in my screams
reality is too hard for me...this life all alone
pain got the best of me...now I'm on my own
No one said life was easy
I'm living proof of that....believe me
along the way I lost my salvation
lost my will to live...like Iām battling starvation
I peek and take a look
I'm living the same chapter in the same damn book
it's gotten crazy
this is how life made me
Iām lost trying to figure it out
Is this what life.....is really about
I feel like nothing can heal me
I'm sitting back waiting for life to...kill me
sometimes we find out the hard way believe me
they said this road wasn't easy!

Thank you all for your comments on this piece. I actually wrote this poem sitting at my dinner table the other night. For me a lot of my writings are poetry are written off the top of my head. There is so much talent on this site and as we grow as a cosmofunnel family we all grow as true poets.
