Room for change

Got to give a little room for change
Given a little time to rearrange
The way that I feel
About you now
I’m not an animal in a cage
I was filled with all this rage
Situation you created
Putting me down
It can’t last forever
People always change
Given a little room
I could start a new page
All you do is turn on the pressure
Whilst I feel the love
I have attained
You never had the time
To get to know me
Give a little room for change
Years upon years
Agony and pain
Boil to the surface
Now my life’s not the same
Living up to other people’s expectations
Some cannot well what a shame
Living up to your standards
It’s all a part of the game
Shine a little light
Give a little room for change

Thanks for the comment, I notice on your picture your sat at a microphone, I am also a song writer, I play guitar, I have done for 20 years, agony and pain boil to the surface all the time, their is no open doorway for musicians, they tried years ago here in England with something called (new deal for musicians) 18 to 25 years old only, I applied but I was 28 at the time, not too old to be a musician, my only way forward without having lots of money for recording time, how is this where you come from?Â
