Running

Running

I always thought running was the answer,
running from the house I was abused in,
Running from the state I was born in,
But it stills follows me,
How can I run from my own mind,Ā
I still can hear him telling me I can't,
But here I am proving him wrong,
Here I am proving to myself I can and I will...
just because they told you that you can't,Ā
Doesn't mean you can't try,
I fell many times,
Just get back up and try again,
Hold on to faith,
Hold on to your loved ones,
Ā Just trust yourself,
Believe in yourself,
And everything will work outĀ
