Running

I always thought running was the answer,
running from the house I was abused in,
Running from the state I was born in,
But it stills follows me,
How can I run from my own mind, 
I still can hear him telling me I can't,
But here I am proving him wrong,
Here I am proving to myself I can and I will...
just because they told you that you can't, 
Doesn't mean you can't try,
I fell many times,
Just get back up and try again,
Hold on to faith,
Hold on to your loved ones,
 Just trust yourself,
Believe in yourself,
And everything will work out
