There's an alcoholic in the local bar She's heading home to the liquor store

There's two young lovers in a beat up carĀ 
Trying not to take it to farĀ 

There's a man on the street just begging for changeĀ 
The kind in his pocket & the kind shown by society's rage

There's a politician on his polished standĀ 
pretending to lend out a "loving hand"Ā
