Poem -

Saved

There’s a deep sadness in your, eyes
Something you can’t describe
Like a rainbow in the sky
vanishes in a blink of an eye

There’s a sadness in your thoughts
Something you can’t quite tell
Like the wanders in space
How many stars are in the Milky Way

There is a sadness in your smile
Something you try to hide
Like the deepest ocean unknown to mankind

There is a sadness in your walk
Something untoward
Like when your heart skips a beat
Feeling like you can’t breath

If I Can I would take the sadness from your eyes
Fill them with joy and delight
Like the colours of a rainbow in pure sight

If I Can I would take the sadness from your thoughts
Tie them to the fastest rocket
Past the Milky Way whilst counting all the stars

If I Can I would take the sadness from your smile
Make you gleam
Like capturing the biggest pearl
Hidden in the sea

If i Can I would take the sadness from your walk
Shower you with love
So your heart will always beat
And you can finally breathe
