Say Goodbye To Mother

(This song is a sequel, to a heavily speech sample laden instrumental that I had written a few years earlier, protesting the abuse of our 'mother' - the planet Earth. Both songs were heavily influenced by author David Brin's book - Earth.)
(a,b,c and d spoken in a husky whisper voice)
(a) The coal they rip from Mother's flesh
To keep us warm at night
Leaves gaping wounds and blemishes
Like acne scar strip mines.
(b) The oils below that move our cars
And power industry
Will soon run out and then what's left
But death for you and me.
(7.4)
Say Goodbye To Mother Now, (Vocoder for Say Goodbye To Mother)
Before It Becomes Too Late,
Theres No More Time For Congress To,
Decide For Us Our Fate.
Say Goodbye To Mother Now, (Vocoder for Say Goodbye To Mother)
And Don't Procrastinate,
Instead Of Digging Out The Minerals
We'll Soon Be Digging Our Graves.
(c) In space theres room for us to build
Until the end of time,
Politicians wait, til it's too late,
To spend their one thin dime.
(d) The time is now, we've got to move
While Mother's still alive,
If we stay here, the end is near and
Mother and we will die.
(Repeat 7.4)
