Season of Light

Season of Light

Bring light to the darkness of the winter sky

Our constellation tells a story about our holiday

Each star brightens the darkest month of December

Cities and countries from afar light up candles and brilliant colors

Glow and show us the life of the season be with us

A season of light is presented with an array of stars that brighten

At the John Deere Planetarium each year is celebrated with this festival

Of teaching us about the stars and their meaning filling the ceiling with mystery

Towns filled with trees and wreaths honored by a special time of year

A time to look up and see the many stars looking down upon us

The star of Bethlehem be ever so brilliant and known for its meaning

This season I light a candle for each of my friends and families who have passed with breast cancer

With faith that each star will shine upon them and the candles send their blessings

To the angels in the heavens season of light in the darkest of winter sky
