Seasonal Haiku

Seasonal Haiku

Clouds fall from the sky
carrying the rain’s sweet scent,
the lush Earth’s life-drink.

Flames rage in the sky
shooting from the searing Sun
burning the grass brown.

Summer sheds her skin,
a wistful wild consumes a
valley once verdant.

Life seemingly goneβ€”
just hidden, victim to the
cold kiss of the Earth.
