Secrets & lies, we all have told
From little white ones , to big fat whoppers
Some for kindness, some for caring
Or juicey gossip, made for sharing
Secrets.... are something else!
Some ya wish ya didn,t know
Other,s you.d rather let go
Other,s ya hold close to ya chest
If someone trusts you with one
Keep it to yourself
Cos some can cause you trouble & strife
If heard by the wrong ears
Some so secret. they last unspoken for years
Some are taken to the grave
Never to be told
Others get enjoyment
Of spreading them & fold
A little extra into it
To juice it up bit
For if they are about you
Can cause you loads of s*"!t
Never trust a liar
The stories that they make
Their secrets & lies
Mixed into the cake
Baked & made for sharing
By a very select few
The ones you love & trust
Their best interests are in you
