Selfish

Selfish

As the world is coming down I look to you but only to see you staring blankly at the ground. Time ticks near and I see you with all the fear. You lay down on the cold hard ground. You start to pray for forgiveness as I start to see the light coming towards me, and I look at you with all doubt, and see the demons spilling out, of you like water down a rapid. You scream and scream but know one could hear you because you are alone now. The world finally doesn't revolve around you. Soon you'll only be a hollow body. only  because your soul over time was devoured by your demons, you let them get the best of you,  and now they own you. and now they have taken your soul.
There may finally be peace.
