Semi-Sympathetic

Choices...

The fish of the sea

Options
Are concoctions
Of risk and reward

Decisions
Are driven
By the pen of the sword

Sweet and sour
Hearts a horde
But the panthers pounced
And I hid, I stored

The thoughts
The stories
Open hallways
Became closed doors

Time to wake up
From the endless shower
Pitta patter on toe tips
Wading through the snowdrifts

Tap tap
On the window seal
Come right in
And open your ears

That’s just how I feel
The Fish of the Sea
