Separate dreams

Separate dreams

In the oneness of night
loneliness thrives:
as we each sleep
separate dreams.

In the vastness of day

by sameness of song
through different books.

Dawn by dusk
raises sun for moon,
yet all light is never lost.

Dusk over dawn
calls for the stars

that shine through the seams,
out of all the dreams
into the heart of sleep:

this loneliness
is just another life of the oneness
we wedded

into the world…
