SERENDIPITY

Compassion remains
Within his empty shell
Contained.....Withheld....
His living hell
He chose to dwell.
Striving....Surviving...
Insanity....Driving...
A man off course,
Crash landing....
Nose Diving.
His stagnant soul lingers in existence
Consumed by repetition
Haunting his persistence.
Paying off naught
Never to be bought
A lonesome desire..
Pursuing....He sought...
Companionship?
Relationship?
Only to be used as a lucky dip?
But taunted integrity
Formulates discovery
A convenient mishap...
Serendipity!
Greatness comes to those whom wait
Has fortune finally unfenced her gate?
Coincidental...
Accidental fate...!
Damn straight...!
And I rest assured the worst has gone
For we all see where you have shone
And now you know.... just why you won...
