Shapes That Changed Your Life

Shapes That Changed Your Life

Your mouth opened to say hello,
I was led to learn everything I didn't know,
there was a circle that brought you back,
to St. Mark's Square where nothing you would lack.

The curve of the gondola ferried your soul,
swished in and out of crannies like a brown mole,
bell tower rang a note, instruction how to endow,
be ready, use my box - you can start your life now.

My old mountain range was stored away forever,
with triangles and ovoids in the land of never-never;
I'd spent my life drawing triangles in the sand,
meanwhile, the long line was already etched in my hand.

How wonderful, the jig-saw suddenly came together,
thanks to realization, the smile of fortunate endeavour.

Hi Terry, I did enjoy your use of shapes
here

"My old mountain range was stored away forever,
with triangles and ovoids in the land of never-never"

Wonderful imagery here. I also like the playfulness of this write, with the reference to never-never land. We all keep that inner child within us. An innocence
