Poem -

Shattered Glass

Broken and in pieces left with no instructions for repair

Hollow as I stare into a mirror and see a reflection of emptiness

A sadness follows me, like a never ending shadow

Reminding me of what we had before everything unravaled,

leaving only pieces of glass

That belonged to a heart

We once shared as one

And each broken piece is embeded with a thousand memories

All the thoughts I used to cherish has turned to my closest enemies

The secrets we shared? blown away, lost with each day i search for remedies to cure the roaring silence between us

All the words have been exchanged theirs nothing else left to dicuss

On this long road I walk searching for anything to mend the ache in my chest

So here I am picking up the pieces of whatever we have left
