She Is An Angel

She Is An Angel

There is a woman
She is a very special woman
To me, since I was a tiny baby
Maybe a week old, she took care of me
I never doubted how much, she cared
Today though, I am really, really scared
If we pray it will be okay
But its the best of the souls that seem to pay
If I pray, God might help save her
But, how could he torture
Her in the first place?
She is an angel, on the faceĀ
Of this earth!
Who is worthĀ
More than diamonds and gold
She deserves to grow old
With her husband, and see her son graduate
How could dying of cancer, be held in her fate
I truly do not know
It already attacked her a few years ago
She had won the battle, she came out strong
Cancer does not belong
In a woman who is so amazing's body
Her survival story
Was known to us all, as a pure miracle
When her stage three cancer, became invincibleĀ
Her story even made it on channel eight news
As she spoke her words
Faith in God, just have faith and everything will be okay
Is what she would say
But two years later, to everyone's surprise
The cancer is back, to fill our eyes
With tears, please my poetic friends help me pray
So that she will be okay
I pray that she feel's no pain
That with each day she will gain
Strength inside
I truly believe in God, and that he will provide
What is best for her, she has left a huge impact
On all of our lives, though I may react
In sadness and disappointment today
But tonight, as I pray
That God saves her please
I will do so on banded knees

Hello Melissa..

Praying too...

We may never understand, but even Angels have a time to Begin and a time to End...

Some stay for a very short time and some stay longer...

All of us are only passing through...

May God Bless all of you and...

Give you each all the strength you need continually...

Thank you for sharing...

Hugs...

Thank you Sparrowsong for the prayers, and yes your words are so true as well each light only shines for so long before it burns out, she is 45 years old. Ā But you are right we are all just numbers waiting to be called. May God bless you as well thank you for such the comforting gestures of our bitter reality. xox
