Poem -

she is me

she's falling and oh how i wish i could save her
she's spiraling down,
around,
and out of control.

all her perfectly fallen pieces now scattered on the floor,
everyone she loves is now walking out the door,
those of hers still around are hardly there to be found.

slippery fingers as she grips the edge of her sanity,
slipping more and more constantly.

one day she will fall so deep she cannot be retrieved

please don't let the day be today.
