She Was
Eighty-Four Pins is my first collection of Poetry available now! Order on www.amazon.co.uk

She was the one,
That stepped into my dreams,
Night after night,
She was the one,
Who held my hand so very tight,
We walked together for hours at a time,
On golden beaches,
In glorious sunshine,
For when she held onto me,
I knew she was mine,
But when I awoke,
A small tear always fell down,
For I knew that she was not around,
She was gone,
There were no more blue skies,
There was no more sun,
For I knew that she was my lover,
My soul mate,
My friend,
Who once touched my heart,
But ultimately did not choose to love me,
In the end,
She was like all the women,
That I had ever known,
Who touched my heart in some way,
But ultimately left me alone,
