She's Gone

She's Gone

That sweet little girl doesn't live here anymore..
Not like anyone ever noticed and they never did before.
That sweet little girl has over the years aged and grown..
She's now lost in the world of darkness and all alone.

Hiding away in her comfortable shell..
The world has been cruel in her life of living hell.
No one to hold her and no one to hear..
She's withdrawn from society and lives in fear.

Secluded like a hermit and hating herself..
Betraying all that once offered her help.
As she contemplates death and reflects on life..
She was just a wasted soul and an abused wife..
