Shipwrecked

An outcast marooned
on the dark side of the moon
here I live stripped bare
smokescreen-smile with the cracks showing
light from the sun I use
deepen the scars from living
here-
I built my home
I dug my grave
I'm the one they warned you about
bleeding with rage; sorrow inevitable
so I am a castaway
in a place forgotten to the world
gazing at stars destined to die
at the threshold of my abode
I stand staring at my grave
hesitating
listening
for the breeze of your tempest to pass me by
into it I whisper a prayer
echoes of my song to you
come live with me
on my dark side of the moon.

A compelling piece echoing the thoughts and feelings of SO many people on this planet....... dark, alone, depressed, facing the fear ......or welcoming the finality that death brings........ being in a world where fitting in with others is a struggle .....and not the simple, beautiful, thing it should be........ be not afraid brother poet........ there is that certain someone who would be happy to share some smiles with you on the dark side of the moon.......... even if this write is a complete fiction LOST!!........I enjoyed its seeming truthfulness!!........ALL STARS!!....... well done....... and......WELCOME to COSMO!!.........LOVE and ROCKETS!!........T xo. ?☀✴✳
