Shoot me now.

Born a girl hang me now before I grow up and bleed. Given useless parents who would shame me, castrate me now before I get cursed from their sins. Had many men all in procrastination place. Shoot me now before another bleeds me of time. Old and dottery middle age hangs up my youthful indulgence. No more baby brain, no matter how much good intentions they get there guns. Cause I'm different, weird even. Hassle me now if you don't mind. Go ahead and shoot me after all I gave you the trigger.Â

A strong hard hitting poem! Wonder what exactly u mean by 'castrate me' or maybe it's just a powerful metaphor referring to the abuse of the girl child. Kudos for a great poem.
pls pleez do comment on my newest poem too.
Glad you got my metaphor.Â
Again, your conceit of familiar imagery makes a very effective language feature in your writing. It's a great style! Keep playing with that and polishing it, it is turning into something very distinctive! ❤
Thanks al. I will keep being distinctive.Â
