Silence

Silence

Silence gives no sound its like a ghost we cannot see,
a welcome piece of stillness in a calm that's meant to be.
It's set within the shadows and can open up a door,
but when it closes shut again you'll beg it gives some more.

You'll hardly hear a whisper when the world seems locked away,
that  precious moment has you, in this place you'll want to stay.
While through the depth of darkness it's a greeting while you sleep,
but when the sound breaks through again its something we cant keep.

Not even breezes lullaby could ever take its place,
that special me alone time never wasted on our space.
While borne into existence its a gift of heavenly love,
created out of something worthwhile spent from God above.
