Silence

You ever wish for the silence? For it to be quiet and still. To be just you longing for peace in your life, despite the fact that you know it can never be real. I some days long for the silence to keep me company. For my mind to be calm and at ease. No stress over how can I pay these bills, why am I so ill, why can't my man ever be still... My mind is cool and calm, like before a dangerous storm. I wish, I long, I pray for peace. But if i cannot obtain that just give me silence, so that I may sleep.
