Silent as the Snow
Softly pad, Oh gentle snow,
astounding in its eloquence.
Brightest dustings gentle glow
Each flake, powdered decadence
Lighting beyond all dissolution
Peaceful divinity: maunders on
Blanketing unsightly pollution
With wings of a graceful swan
Covering each sinful brawl
with an innocence profound
Silent is the snowfall
Padding gently on the ground
