Silent Witness

You linger in far away places
and exist through entities voyage.
Forever your a watchful eye 
that lingers to haunt the breeze,
a majestic wander that knows truth.
You hide in the shadows with  
hardly a breath.
Your presence surrounds us, listless
because you are a silent witness.
When will you send your essence
through the golden gate?
Where is your fountain of promise?
I stand on the shore and wait for ageless,
it drifts in the palm of your hand.
Boundless, do you still savour your work?
creation has broken and pulls many to
the dark side.
Forbidden fruit still falls to favour evil,
as purity tosses us out.
Show me the meaning of peace.
Boundless we cross an ocean for truth,
to reach an effect like non other.
 Paradise has lain dormant for eternity,
lift the veil that proves its path.
The whispers of those that came
before, are calling.
