SIXTH SENSE (topic - spirituality)

SIXTH SENSE (topic - spirituality)

SIXTH  SENSE

The scent of a song
Stroked my senses
I watched it dance
All dressed in burnt cinnamon.
It twined around my mind
And left a taste of wanderlust
Sparkling on my tongue.
My fingertips caressed a
Leaf-green memory
Of when the world was young.
And then I heard His smiling face
Strike straight to my heart
As I drifted in His grace.

A profound piece Susan ..
To write about how a scent feels  or a touch smells comes from knowledge of the sixth sense..
Captured to perfection!
My vote and nomination x:)

A beautifully composed piece of poetry Susan, your lines of imagery are magical and spring to life when you read them.  It gets better the more you read it; you are fast becoming one of my favourite poets.  A very talented lady.  5*s and nomination from me too:)
