Poem -

Skin to skin

Sometimes I need to be reassured
That your love hasn't turned
This darkness that surrounds me can't be cured
But you bring light to me in every possible way
You make me feel something that makes me stay
Your like an addiction
Thought this type of stuff was fiction
Under extinction
Skin to skin friction
Words muttered
Sometimes stuttered
It's hard for me to say these words out loud
Too kind
Too much pride
Too vulnerable
Too memorable
Look me in my eyes and tell me you feel the same
Don't call my name
I'm sorry this is what I became
To make such a claim
About a love so untamed
Is this all just a game?
