Sky Eyed Redemption

Sky Eyed Redemption

I’ve seen the light.
It’s blinding.

She’s not easy to understand.
Is it hatred or repulsion?
Her distance in this instance.

I guess they’re two in the same.

To stay here or walk away.
It’s intoxicating not to leave.

She’s a wall and I’m remiss.

I’m thinking too much and my mind has scattered.

I know there’s something more....
I feel it in my bones...

I question the line of my questions.
I stumble over the words.
So disassembled and so vague.
I want you like the summer sun but I feel like a plague.
