Sleepless Nights

Each night comes

and I can`t sleep

for since you left

I'm counting sheep

you made me whole

and gave me peace

but from that time 

that will now cease

for this I know

that life goes on

I won`t give up

as I am strong!

so let me sleep

for I must cope

with what life brings

there`s always hope

you broke my heart

and dimmed my lights

for still I`ll have

these sleepless nights

It`s hard for the ones left behind.......
