Slow down
(Long Term Relationship - 1)
I`m starting to think, it’s not fair.
I can see it in your eyes.
If I were only hands,
You would not care.
Where`s the love?
When you want desire.
Where`s the hope?
When you want fire.
Held your hand down this path.
Now I don`t like the feeling.
That you don’t care for me,
As much as I`m dreaming.
Is it too much to ask,
For you to get to know me.
To understand my personality.
Maybe you simply can’t see.
To break you would be a sin.
But no more.
Had my fun.
I think you have too.
I want to take it slow now.
Does that work for you?

Hi Fish...wow, what a poem! Relationships, eh! They are hard work at the best of times.. At the worst they are soul destroying and heartbreaking. Unrequited love can be a killer. Personally I am left wondering to myself if any relationship is equal in love. I mean, we all feel things differently. Maybe it is too much to ask for, for someone to love you with the same amount of affection you bestow on them. I think a few lucky ones have it but for the most part we find ourselves suffering in love one way or another. I hope it works out for you, I really do. Hang on in there and give it your best shot. If that is not good enough, then walk away. All my best to you, my friend. And hugs x
