Hey babe,
don’t feel sad, not for this old soldier anyway
Neither you,
or this war of ours made me ache like this ..
But just between,
the two of us, did you really think there was
any alternative ..
So, for now
at least, so long and thanks for all the fish ..

Brilliant...the title that is which grabbed me first....and the words that follow are just as good Nev. I can't believe you like ( do you? ) the Douglas Adams trilogy...I still have the copies bought for me in my 20's...I've kept them all these years. They always make me laugh. Nothing would induce me to part with them though the TV series was dismal. Marvin the paranoid android was always my favourite character and nowadays I tend to model myself on his defiant apathy lol. Great stuff X

Although not a massive science fiction fan (I am a bit picky re that particular genre) I am nevatheless a great fan of the late great DA and who I was lucky enough to meet at one of his book signings in Manchester .. I have all his books and two of them are signed by himÂ
It was a great loss when he passed so youngly .. Being a fan yourself, I imagine you already know that his trilogy consisted of five individual books .. now that is something innit ........ I couldn't watch the TV series of Hitchhikers for the reason you made perfectly clear ..
