Poem -
SOCIETY WAS TO BLAME....
Addicted in the womb
'Mothered' by a whore
Never knew his father
His mother wasn't sure
Started life a victim
The 'system' let him down
People turned a blind eye
Watched him slowly drown
Desperate with loneliness
Craving any affection
Vulnerable to predators
He welcomed their attention
Aroused by violence
Was all he'd ever known
Started to enjoy the pain
Perverse seeds, now sown
On a path of destruction
Fueled by anger and hate
Inflicting pain and suffering
Aroused his frenzied state
Didn't feel any remorse
Had no sense of shame
Born from a warped reality
Society was to blame.....
