Solitude

I kept crying, as all the suppressed childhood memories came back to life. I couldn’t control my emotions, as I sat there by myself. The tears and screams kept coming, as I finally accepted who I was. 

it required being around no one else, that’s when the fake personification had no one else to impress.

Sometimes we just need space to take a breath and find ourselves. This is a good write

Exactly, I think we find ourselves afraid to be alone because it makes it hard to distract us from ourselves. It wasn’t until it was forced on me that I witnessed the power of solitude.
