Somewhere Over The Rainbow

Way betwixt April showers & a sizzling, scorching sun
An arch of seven pretty colours has visibly begun
Red, yellow, violet
Indigo, orange, blue & green
Look up into the highest heavens & wild blue yonder inbetween

Should you stumble upon a rainbow highlighting hues across the sky
cascading streaks of artist pallettes right before your eager eye
Gaze longingly at your treasure
It was purposely sent from Earth’s realms above
To shine happiness & harmony on humanity with love

Perched ontop of a rainbow
Is a forever & a day
Filled with the souls of our loved ones watching over us come what may
In that colossal emptiness of atmosphere way up high
Is a Kingdom come of the Great beyond
Where heavenly angels fly
