Soul Mate

Soul Mate

There was a lassie
As fair as fair could be
Hair of red and eyes of green
Her skin the color of cream.
As she laughed the fairies cried,
She was a wild child
as carefree as the tide
I loved this girl you see.
Through all of destiny
Time and time again
I come to find my Earlene.
Some lives she is late.
Some lives she is great.
I find her no matter what.
I am her soul mate.
What else can I do?
Even now as the days grow late.
and the years catch up to me.
I find myself missing her
I go and walk down by the lake.
Where all the swans swim free
Where she used to wait for me.
I love you Earlene.
Set me free..
