How often do you sit at home?
Wishing someone would ring you.
Suggesting anything, besides these ….
Four walls that surround you.
How many have had a night planned?
Maybe arranged coffee with friends.
But, these “four walls” ….
Seem to be the only haven.
How is it the only place?
A place of no pretending.
You say, “you’re ok” ….
So, you cancel.
How about when you’re invited out?
Tell them how terribly sorry you are.
Rather, you’re booked ….
This weekend isn’t good.
It’s your safe box that’s holding you together.
So, the 1st problem starts.
You’re by yourself ….
People stop asking you.
You feel isolated.
What you thought wasn’t true ….
Now it’s the only truth.
Shall you give up on your friends?
Ring them, go around ….
Maybe they don’t want you.
They really do.
It just seems like ….
They don’t know how too.
Everyone always says, “If you need anything I’m there for you”.
Will you take the time to help?
