Springtime in Winter

Springtime in Winter

Rain streaks the sky
But butterflies dance in my belly

This thing
This all-consuming love
Is it real or a dream?

Grey clouds coat the blue
But daisies sprinkle sunshine

Alive again
It is springtime in winter
Songbirds need to sing

Snow is coming
But warmth lives in my heart

This thing
This all-consuming love
Sparkles with happiness

I’ll take it, cherish it
And live a May in December

Thank you Gerard. I've actually thought about changing that line to 'Celebrate a May in December' instead. But I'll leave it for now. :)
