THE STAGGERING STOIC

THE STAGGERING STOIC

The staggering stoic
Struggles to save
His moral excellence
His virtue portrayed.
Noble and worthy
His notable ways,
Have somewhat corrupted
A life he betrayed.
Integrity..honesty...
His followers prayed....
But their heads hung in shame
As they pointed the blame
Upon fear
Drawing near
Needing someone to name
Then the staggering stoic
Regained himself
Once again
As he finally became
An unknown
To this fame....

I am so glad you get me girl...You give so many of my writes a bit of Cherie's Sunshine...:)
Your so right!....It is a role so many are put into without knowing the real facts about not only themselves but what others expect...Impossible :)
