Stagnant

(photo also by me)

Stagnant

We are dandelion clocks
Waiting for the wind to take us
To seize our last purpose
A journey to somewhere
Or nowhere
To fall on luck
Or to remain
Stagnant
Motionless
Decaying
Time ebbing and sand fa
                                              ll
                                                 in
                                                     g
dreams fading to ashen air
until
dust
is the last place we reside

I LOVED this ❤️

the analogy of us being dandelions waiting to commit ourselves to the breeze. I loved the construction on this piece too. Giving the sense of movement and drifting

saved and pinned and voting too. A job well done
