Desert night filled with starlight, quiet be still their hearts be thrilled

A new born baby born in a manger with nature surrounding him behold

For a star is born and carries our light from far above through his wisdom

Sacrifice be known for he is the king no other has his throne

The camels back the calf and lambs adorn his name for the sake of him be known

On earth he is received and in heaven a magnificent life of eternity

Be with us now your majesty for our gift of life we give thanks to thee

As the shepherds herd be driven to the light and the three kings bring gifts afar

Mary the mother holding you tightly in her arms a moment in time never letting go

A star so bright, a story told, behold the light as the year ends and new birth begins
